Detailed Description
The Creative Arts Department would like to offer students the opportunity to attend a day trip to Bristol on 11/12/24. Level 2 Art and L3 Art students will have the opportunity take part in a ‘Research Day’ where they will visit an exhibition at the Arnolfini and then walk to a second exhibition at Spike Island.
Art and Design students will be gathering primary research to help with their current/ future projects as well as experiencing how professional galleries are curated.
Students must wear their lanyards.
9:00 – Departure from Bridgwater Campus by coach
10:30 - Arrive at Bristol Arnolfini gallery.
11.00 - Arnolfini Rinko Kawauchi’s photography exhibition
12:30-13:30- walk to spike island and eat lunch
13:30– Spike Island Sophia Al-Maria & Lydia Ourahmane unpleasant Land
14:50 – Coach collection and drive back to Bridgwater
16:20 – Arrive Bridgwater Campus
