The course fees support students in developing their culinary skills and confidence through hands-on kitchen experience and industry exposure. 

They cover essential ingredients, kitchen supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE) like chef whites and aprons, as well as costs for attending food shows, festivals, and other industry events.

A payment of £350 is required to cover these costs and and should be paid in full by 03 November 2024, however, you can also pay in two instalments of £175 each prior to this deadline.

Students receiving a Learning Support Fund (LSF) may have some or all costs covered by their bursary.

The course fees support students in developing employment skills and gaining vocational experience through the provision of essential equipment, materials and personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety gear and uniforms.

They cover the costs of tools and resources for practical training, classroom projects, external work-related experiences, as well as specialised trips and visits including transport costs. These activities enhance teambuilding, independence, social skills and employment readiness.

This fee also covers the cost of applying for an Enhanced DBS check which is required for working in the hospital.

A payment of £156 is required to cover these costs and should be paid in full by 03 November 2024, however, you can also pay in two instalments of £78.00 each prior to this deadline.

Taunton Campus P2I - Kilve Residential

Description

We have the opportunity to run a residential for our Gold DofE students at Kilve Court in November. The residential costs £360 per young person. We have secured £250 per person through funding.  The cost you need to pay is £110.

Kilve Court

Kilve Court is a beautiful grade 2 listed building in Kilve Somerset, TA5 1EA. They are part of Somerset Council – Support Services for Education and run residentials for all age groups over the year. Alongside various day events. The residential will be held onsite at Kilve and use the fantastic facilities and location during the week.
