Level 3 Protective Service students are going to Port Elizabeth, South Africa for 16 days (including travel) to volunteer for the 'United Through Sport' charity.

The charity looks to educate and inspire children within the deprived township areas. The students will support within the local community, supporting with upgrading learning environments for deprived children. They will develop their protective service knowledge with visits to Police and Fire Stations.

Alongside this, the students will also support maths and English in the classrooms, further developing their leadership skills. Lastly, they will also have the opportunity to experience some of the African culture.

The total cost of the trip is £2100.00 and can either be paid in full or in instalments as follows:

In full - £2100.00 paid by 29/08/2025

Deposit - £500.00 paid by 29/08/2025

followed by instalment 1 - £800.00 paid by 28/11/2025

followed by instalment 2 - £800.00 paid by 30/01/2026
