Art Trip to Bristol - 10 December 2025

Description

The Creative Arts Department would like to offer students the opportunity to attend a day trip to Bristol on 10/12/25. Level 2 Art and L3 Art students will have the opportunity take part in a ‘Research Day’ where they will visit an exhibition at the Arnolfini and then walk to The M Shed museum.

 

Detailed Description

Art and Design students will be gathering primary research to help with their current/ future projects as well as experiencing how professional galleries are curated. 

Students will need to bring either a camera or phone which photos can be taken on.  Cameras can be hired from the College for the day from the relevant kit room. A small sketchbook and drawing materials are also required for recording. Students will need to bring their own packed lunch on the day. 

9:00 – Departure from Bridgwater Campus 

10:30 - Arrive at Bristol Arnolfini gallery. 

11.00 - Arnolfini exhibition 

12:15 -13:00- walk to M Shed and eat lunch 

13:00– M Shed Museum 

14:50 – Coach collection and drive back to Bridgwater 

16:20 – Arrive Bridgwater Campus
